If there are any coaches out there who are looking to add a date: the Mid-America Nationals hosted by Tulsa Union is December 10th & 11th. We are looking to add teams to our tournament. As of now we are around 28 teams. We have seven mats down with one being on a stage (platform) for the entire tournament. Placing are 1st-8th. The finals are broadcasted live on local Cox. Great tournament. I've attended the past two years. Good teams and a great atmosphere for wrestling. Finals are unlike any other high school folkstyle tournament I've ever been to. I look forward to this year.

Did Andale sign up? What about Andover Central, Abilene,Lansing, Wichita Heights, Emporia, etc. This is an awesome tournament.
Your program should shake up its schedule and break free from "We always go there every year." This is a great trip that could get more kids in your room competing for spots.

No I don't believe Andale is going to make it this year. Coach Lies wants to, but don't the school board is going to let them come this year, maybe next year.
But we would still love to have a couple more teams.

Sounds like a tough tournament. To bad it is the same weekend as our home tournament.

Aside from the outstanding competition, the facility is wonderful. It felt more like being on a small college campus than a highschool. The gym, seating and scoreboard are great!
