Yes, as you know. However, Braxton Medina's potential points outweighed Mancuso and Salsbury.

Chief
Not sure what this means "potential points" I have been trying to get potential points awarded for years. I think actual points at the actual tournament are what count.

The older I get the better I was!

He did not wrestle. Therefore, potential. I rank teams with their complete rosters.

St. James placed ahead of Garden City with 6 wrestlers and you wont change the team rankings? So Braxton Medina outweights the potential points of 5 Saint James wrestlers really? Are we not basing rankings on the actual placings of tournaments or are going to do it based on what if's? and could have's or should have's? is that how the rankings work??

Yes, Yes, What ifs, Would have's, Yes.

As a former SJA wrestler, you know your team, so let's get this straight. Outside of Mancuso and Salsbury (Who are both tough), which of those wrestlers would have won a match? My estimation would be 0-8. Had one of SJA's highest ranked wrestlers missed the tournament, I would have considered that also. SJA is one of my favorite teams. I consider their head coach as one of the best that Kansas has and Will is one of my closest friends. I have no reason to slight your former team. Understand Jack, that there are many other factors that contribute to the rankings. When 140 and 152 are vacuum weights and you add several out of state teams to the brackets, each tournament analysis changes.

Even a K-State student would understand that. (That's a joke).

If a kid is out for the season, then you change the rankings. However, Medina (who is a freakin' beast by the way) is not out for the season and will score lots of points for GC. Therefore, team rankings should not change. The All-Class and Team Rankings are based on if your whole team is present and there are only Kansas Teams in the tourney, etc.
