No, he took second to Hoehn of Wellsville. Bainter won a title at 112 in 2009.

Thanks RB.

Impressive stuff. What was his score last year (approximate if need be) to Hoehn? Is Bainter a tall one? I know sometimes a talented tall 'kid' can be a real challenge for DD. Thanks again.

Anyone know where the results may be found for 135? The link provided above says "page not available" when you click on the weight.

If my memory is correct, I believe the score of Bainter vs Hoehn last year in the state finals was 2-1. I also believe that Bainter gave Hoehn a penalty point or maybe stalling???

I would also guess that Bainter stands around 5'8" - 5'10" range.

I can't believe they can't keep the brackets updated.

Thank you Richard. Do you know who the O.W. was for the tourney? We left before it was announced. Long drive back to JC. Great tourney.

Man, that Tulsa team is AWESOME! Very physical and well-coached and conditioned.

Tim Prescott. Perhaps you saw the individual sitting at the head table running the computer software and directing the tournament. If so, next year, providing each of us keeps our health, introduce yourself.

Thanks for the info on Tim Prescott. Thank you also for the invite for a visit. That was kind of you. But, is it really for just a visit or is it for a bat upside my head!? ;-) I'll do so on one condition - you promise to be nice to me! Take care Richard.

;-)

Dean, usually plays nice with others!

It was a great tournament! Ran well and there was some good wrestling. Very tough Tulsa Union team and also some good teams were missing key individuals that might have made the team race a little more interesting.

One was removed from the tournament for misconduct and the other injury defaulted.
