I totally agree with you Doug. Dirty wrestling can get very frustrating . Just think karma.Slowly dad/coach will get his. While we teach technique, he is teaching the wrong things and slowly we progress while they stand still.
In my opinion, you have to enter them into those opens to get them ready. You will make them better by having them wrestle more experienced wrestlers. You choose the both of you together. If your wrestler is up for it he will understand he will need to get better to beat them. When everyone doesn't get a medal they start to figure it out.
