We all hear about the same tough kids all the time being mentioned as the best. I was wondering who are some of the new and rising wrestlers that have shown a lot of improvement over the years.

One of the best ones that I have seen so far this year is Mark Kolmer of Emporia. I believe he is wrestling 14 & under 150-155 range. It is his first year at the age group but he should be a major factor at State. He took first at both the Johnson County Classic and at Salina this weekend against very good competition. He looked very good doing it. He has a very effective ankle takedown.
