Is there a way to get ahold of whomever is in charge of the tournament to let them know of scratches?

The Paola Wrestling Club will not be able to host a weigh in due to sub state basketball at our school.

Just curious...
Why did you guys decide to go with a HS 245 pound class and not a 250 pound class like the Kids HS state division.

When we made the decision to implement the High School division we wanted to be as close to the high school weight classes as possible.

We want to encourage as many high school wrestlers as possible to go wrestle at the national tournaments... With that in mind we wanted to follow similar guidelines that high school national tournaments follow...such as using high school weights and giving them a +3 lb growth allowance.

So a wrestler who signs up for 245 can weigh as much as 248. The growth allowance is for the High School Division only... Very similar to what a wrestler will find if wrestling at High School Nationals.

The one exception we had was the additional weight between 215 and 285...

When the wrestlers weigh in we will group them in a manner that will not exceed the weight restrictions allocated by USA wrestling.

If it is reuired to add another weight class so that we do not violate the weight difference we will do so.

As soon as we import all the entries into the live site, make adjustments for weights we may have to combine, and we develop the weigh-in sheets for the Satellite locations we will try to get the entries published.

steven, do you know if a lot of girls have registered? just wondering if i'll have matches.

Was also wondering how many girls have entered? Will be bringing my daughter to wrestle and would like to know if there was going to be anyone for her t wrestle.Hope you all got good numbers for girls.

The last check I made we have 21 girls entered...

I hope we can add some more throughout the evening...
