The regents will vote this coming Friday, 3/25 on the proposed move to D1. If they vote no, UNO will stay DII. This seems very unlikely. If they vote yes, there is still hope that with sufficient fundraising, they can be convinced to take the wrestling team to DI with the other sports.

I also want to say that the first group that organized to help save football and wrestling was the women's swim and dive team. These ladies quickly organized a tee shirt sale to increase awareness within the campus and community. Gonz Medina and Blue Chip Athletic were great partners in their efforts to quickly get low-cost shirts on campus. Thanks!
