I would like to know if there are any kansas wrestling coaches that were wanting to get a kansas team to take to the OSU Camp. If you are interested I would like to know.. thank you

Is it a technique camp? and what is the price?

OU has a team and technique camp going on at the same time. We attend in July . Last year was our first year there and our kids really enjoyed the technique session in the morning and duals in the afternoon, plus they have a bracketed individual tournament at the end of camp. Most of our kids were able to get in 15-20 matches, and there is also 2 challenge mats. It also nice to see all the Kansas wrestlers on staff: OU has truly earned the name as Kansas South with so many of our HS wrestlers being a part of the team.

Brent, are you planning on going to the Team camp or technique? Which are you planning to attend Crossface King?

We attend the team camp, I do believe that those who attend the technique camp get randomly placed on a team for the duals in the afternoon. I will say the technique session is awesome. They have about 10 mats going all with different techniques, which makes it nice for the coaches and wrestlers to choose what they want to work on.
Coach Henson and OU wrestlers do an excellent job of breaking down the techniques and insuring the wrestlers are absorbing the lessons.

We are attending the team Camp July 9th -13th, last year we went to Nebraska, but want to give OU a try, especially with all the Kansas wrestlers on their roster like Jonathan mentioned. Coach Manning did an awesome job in Nebraska and I am sure they will do a similar job at OU. Tyler, you are welcome to join us, the cost is $385, we can pick you up on the way.
