Tyler Caldwell will be competing this weekend at the Sunkist Kids International in AZ. It is a qualifier for the Olympic Trials.

At 74kg/163 pounds, 2009 World Team member Trent Paulson (Ames, Iowa/Sunkist Kids) is the top registered entry. Entering the fray this year are Tyler Caldwell (Colorado Springs, Colo./Sunkist Kids), Moza Fay (Colorado Springs, Colo./Gator WC), Colt Sponseller (Columbus, Ohio/Ohio RTC/NYAC), and Matt Moley (Bloomsburg, Pa./NYAC)

Looks like Caldwell won three out to the semi's then got beat by Trent Paulson (who won the tourney) and then dropped to the back side and beat Sponseller (quality win). He forfeited in the 3rd/4th...not sure the story there.

Joe Johnston is back at it too. He reached the finals before falling to Jared Frayer.

Not sure but I do know that Tyler had been battling an ankle injury!

His ankle was bothering him after Paulsen match. He should have been on the other side of the bracket.He did forfiet the match for third . Saw some great matches out there.
