You should have waited a couple of days to build the suspense! LOL Disagree at 120: I'm picking Kough at 132: I'm gonna go with Mulligan. A SR - SO matchup, I'll take the SR.

Dexter KS, home to a great home-made candy shop. We used to live in Central Burden 20 years ago now, I always liked the trip to the candy store for some reason.

I just looked it up in the KSHSAA membership directory and sure enough there is. It's listed as being on main street. They are a co-op team with Central Burden for wrestling I believe.

I have a pretty loose criteria when deciding a state champion. How much state experience does he have? Has he wrestled in a state title match? When it comes to Risewick and Kough, flip a coin. I'll give Risewick the slightest of edges because he's wrestled in two state title matches.

Defore was a 5th place finisher last year at 112. He's a pretty tough kid. 113 certainly isn't one of the more "loaded" weight classes.

I found their facebook page Dexter School District, so I am learning new things every day. They are called the Spartans, but clearly they have a Cardinal with a big "D" on its sweater for a mascot.

I believe that Dexter consolidated with Cedar Vale or they combine with one another in sports, this is why there are two mascots. Spartans is the name of their team sports and I guess for individual sports Dexter continues to go by the Cardinals moniker, but I could be wrong. Dexter USD 471 Cedar Vale USD 285

Chiefs, I like the way you think. That's an excellent group of wrestlers that any coach would be proud to have on their team. No offense to Austin Veach of DW or Trevin Edelman of Sabetha, both super wrestlers, but I would have to put on my list Cody Batt...who looks like he's giving up a lot of weight in his class, and Jacob English...a fine young man who is almost too nice to be a wrestler.

I agree with Holiday at 106, 113, 120, 126, 138, 145, 152, 160, 170, 220 and 285.
Gotta go with Mulligan at 132.
At 182, going with Brock Long from Southeast of Saline.
At 195, I'm going with Herl from Goodland.
Top three teams--1. Goodland, 2. Scott City, 3. Oberlin

I suppose a "non favorite" team might be Hoisington. They probably won't win it, but I think this is the best Cardinal team I've seen. I wouldn't be surprised to see them around 5th.
