October 27th @ 7:30 am classroom session with Randy Hinderliter
October 27th @ 8:00 am technique session with Bill Zadick and Cody Bickley of USA Wrestling
October 27th @ 11 am final classroom session with Randy Hinderliter
October 27th @ 11:30 KWCA Awards Banquet

All sessions will be held at the Ramada Inn Hotel and Convention Center in Salina, KS. (Note: Sunday, October 28th is the USAW-Kansas Kids State Body Meeting)
Things to do if you need a Bronze coaching card!
Apply through USA Wrestling for a background check. No other vendor’s verification is accepted.
Once you pass, apply for a USA Wrestling Coaches Membership card through a local club
Attend a Bronze certification clinic

If you are in need of Bronze certification!!

(if you plan to be on the floor coaching during the State Tournament Series, you have to be Bronze certified)

(Middle School and High School coaches are required to have a Bronze certification ... even College coaches must have the card)

Step #1 ... Go to the coaches tab on the left and go to the link, regarding the Background Screening! USA Wrestling does not accept any other vendor's verification! ie. Military, Teaching, Boy Scouts ... it must be done through USAW.

Step #2 ... Once you pass, go through a local club and have them apply for a USAW Coaches Membership card for you! This is a requirement of USAWKS-Kids ... that ALL coaches must be associated with a local club.

Step #3 ... attend a Bronze clinic and satisfactorily complete the certification testing!

There are not many clinics listed right now but keep checking back. We try to offer clinics in several geographical areas to keep the travel to a minimum. However, it is very unlikely that we will be in Topeka and Lawrence or Wichita and Wellington! Typically there is a last chance clinic in Salina, on seeding meeting Sunday but there is no guarantee of that!!

Remember when checking under the coaches tab, last years offerings are still listed ... check the dates, don't get confused!!

Sorry ... I forgot this on the flier but the cost for this clinic will be $100.00!

Your money will get you a Bronze clinic plus a KWCA Membership with full admission to the KWCA Clinic and KWCA Awards Banquet!!

A regular Bronze clinic is $60 ... the KWCA Membership, clinic, and Banquet is $50 ... so you can save $10!

This is a full package deal only!! Those attending must be present during every technique and classroom session!!

If you wish to host a Bronze clinic ... contact me!

You will need a suitable room for the clinic with multimedia capabilities! ie. a projection screen and Internet access. We also ask the host club to provide refreshments and a light lunch.

We cannot meet everyone's request's ... if there is another clinic listed in your area, we will ask your coaches to attend that clinic! If you plan to host a clinic, check with local clubs and try to insure that at least 20 will be attending!!
