The 2013 Eudora Cardinal conflict is being held at the new high school in Eudora. This is not the same location that was used two years ago. We will have at least 10 surfaces and possibly two full mats for the older kids to wrestle on. We hope to see you all on the 12th. Registration is open on track wrestling.

Are there satellite weigh ins

Yes - there are no onsite weigh ins as each club can weigh in remotely and have the weights entered into trackwrestling NLT 8:00PM Friday night. We will send out an email to each club director with the password and instruction for Track so you can enter the weights from the comfort of your homes. This is the same way that Joe handled weigh ins for Paola a couple of weeks ago. If you don't have access to track please email the weights and age groups to cardinalconflict@gmail.com.

Also, the afternoon coaches meeting will be held at around 11:45 and not 12:45 as the flyer indicates.

I'm afraid to ask, but is it possible to double dip between age groups?

Sure - No problem in double dipping. Just have to pay for each weight class.

Eric Akin will be autographing each bracket for the champion of each weight class. This is a great opportunity for all of you to meet and interact with a world class level wrestler and coach. Bring your kids out to wrestle!!! Parents can enjoy a world class pulled pork sandwich from the number 3 BBQ team in the Nation. Pulled Pork sandwiches from TRUEBUD BBQ. They were featured on TV on BBQ PITMASTERS on Sunday. First class all the way! No gate at this tournament either. Everyone gets in for free!

Cardinal Conflict Update. Looking good with just about 350 entries. I told people that registration did not close until tonight so it has been extended on track. Looks like we have several 6 man RR and some 8 man brackets. No gate at this tournament so a great opportunity to get friends and family out to see your child in action. Are you gonna post brackets before the tounament

Yes - hopefully late Friday night or early Saturday morning. Joe Knecht is handling brackets for us. Looks like some pretty solid competition across the board.

We have a total of 363 right now. Still room for a few more as we will close registration tonight. Looks like some good 6 man round robins brackets and some full brackets. We will import all of the wrestlers into the tournament tomorrow. We hope to have brackets built tomorrow night as well.

I will be sending email our with the user ID and Password so you can enter your weights into Track Wrestling. If you want to make sure I have a good email for your club director please email it to me at cardinalconflict@gmail.com. Please try to have all weights entered prior to 7:30 tomorrow night.

Is there a age limit to wrestle there?

All of the folks in Eudora that wrestle for East Kansas Wrestling would like to extend a thank you to Joe Knecht for his help in making our first tournament at our high school a success. We had a couple of small hiccups along the way and we did our best to correct them and get everyone as much mat time as possible. I realize the day was long but we thank all of you for coming out and making our event a great one. We welcome your comments on what we can do better and hope to see you all next year for our second annual tournament. Congrats to the Spartans for taking home the team Championship trophy.
