Flowrestling does a great job promoting their event and they get the very best kids in the nation to wrestle there. Folkstyle Nationals is also a tough event however, Flo has been bringing in tougher and tougher competition since they started the event. Since the event will be hosted in PA again this year you will be likely to see more college coaches recruiting there, rather than IA, because there are just more schools with college wrestling out east.
Why Flonationals and not Folkstyle Nationals in Iowa?
There will be a USAWKS supported trip to USA Folkstyle Nationals in Cedar Falls. I will post details later now that my son has shown me up. Some kids want to try something different so they are going to Flo. It is better than sitting at home playing XBox.
That's some my dad and I have been discussing and we are working on getting the final costs for both trips to share with the public. Cedar falls will be cheaper I think because it's closer. Both are open tournaments. Flo will cut registration off once they hit 1200 entries.
