Where were all the Oklahoma wrestlers? I saw maybe 10 in the introduction, and Illinois brought their whole state!

Not making a defense here so don't get me wrong. However, there were actually around 30 from Oklahoma, still a small group. Also realize that for them collegiate or folkstyle has been over for around a month now. There is also a large number of OK wrestlers that go to Reno. You might be able to ask how many will be attending AAU Nationals in Tulsa in 2 weeks from Kansas. I would go as far as to say that not many from Kansas or Oklahoma will attend that tournament and it is in Oklahoma.

Oklahoma Kids State was FEb.14-15th. They had been finished with Folkstyle for almost 7 weeks prior to Kids Nationals. Some did go to Reno but I think it is used as a family vacation time rather than going all out to wrestle. However, there are the diehards going after the Trinity Award or Grand Slam. We have moved into our Freestyle/Greco Season. The same weekend as the AAU tournament is also Union Tournament. This Tournament is usually a good turnout because it is ran in two gyms and is also the Southern Plains Junior Qualifier.
