How is Cade Lindsey not #1 @ 152? Didn't he beat Bendure last time they faced each other? Two losses this year, the one to Bendure where he was hurt and had to medical forfeit to Dopps. He is the best I have seen at 152 this year, a complete wrestler with lots of skill, speed, & strength. Just my two cents.

Lindsey lost to Montez Robinson at the Ark City Dual, I think in Overtime. Montez then lost to Bendure in OT at Chanute. This is a hard weight to rank. I wouldnt argue much with the top three in any order. They have all been beat by the other.
I just remembered...Villapondo beat Lindsey in OT at the Derby Maize dual on Thursday. So I guess I wouldn't argue the top 4. Robinson has last win over Lindsey and Villapondo, Bendure has last win over Robinson, Villapondo over Lindsey, and Lindsey over Bendure. Very confusing.

I only saw two losses for Cade on his record. Didn't see any of Thursdays dual results. I would have to agree then, they all are within an eyelash of each other. Cade looked extra sharp this weekend.

Just curious why the Middle school repeater rule hasn't been applied to Any other wrestlers? Did KSHSAA create a rule that no one cares to enforce??? Except Basehore/Linwood?

Sounds like Travis would have some kind of Lawsuit since the other wrestler from up North did the exact same thing Cody did. I am curious why it was enforced for one and not the other.

C'mon now, quit speaking in code, Will. What rule are you referring to? And who is it that you and Chad are discussing? Trying hard to follow from a distance...

From Rule 16 Once the school determines that a student is promoted from eighth grade, high school eligibility begins immediately in the following semester. A student shall not have more than eight consecutive semesters of possible eligibility in grades nine through twelve, regardless of whether the ninth grade is included in junior high or in a senior high school
I would interpret that if they pass eighth grade, their eligibility starts then. If they repeat seventh grade 5 times(sarcasm), as long as age works out they are fine. If they fail eighth grade first time they are fine. At least that is how I am reading it. I could be and probably am wrong in some way shape or form.

Art. 1: A student shall not have more than two semesters (the initial year of attendance) of possible eligibility in grade seven and two semesters in grade eight. Once the school determines that a student is promoted from eighth grade, high school eligibility begins immediately in the following semester. A student shall not have more than eight consecutive semesters of possible eligibility in grades nine through twelve, regardless of whether the ninth grade is included in junior high or in a senior high school. NOTE: If a student does not participate or is ineligible due to transfer, scholarship, etc., the semester(s) during that period shall be counted toward the total number of semesters possible. Dictator Musselman will do whatever he wants to. The lemmings on the boards will follow him every time. No one has what is best for the kids in mind for this organization. While the schools continue to struggle financially they will occupy their palace in Topeka and hang their portraits on the wall. They will continue to devise ways to pick pocket the schools during the post season with no risk. It was INSANE that we just let them have Gary's replacement shadow (which means to be brainwashed) for one year! Who does that? Hire a guy and give him the keys. Tell Gary to go away. We wasted hundreds of thousands of dollars. STUPID

OK. Thanks Chief. According to the KWCA Results on the duals show Patrick winning 7 to 3. Just a fan of HWT's

Both Holton & Wamego coaches confirmed to me that Tannahill pinned Patrick in a recent dual, for 4A rankings information.
