Just wondering how this tournament went. Haven't heard much about it. It had to have better facilities than the Wichita Classic (what tournament doesn't) but can we expect in the next couple of years the level of competition that the Classic offers?

The Western Kansas classic was great! Nice big facility, good refs, and good competition. I think you'll see this tourney grow.Come out west next year and check it out. Bring all the wrestlers you can find, and let's get make this tourney bigger and better!

The tournament was excellantly ran. Great facilities, great people. The Hays kids club had no control over the cocessions. Whoever had them, ya need a better idea of a Kids Club!!!!

Why have the tournament on the same day as the Wichita Classic?

I don't know about everyone else but a good alternative to Wichita and the barn is a great idea! If the Classic has competition from another high quality tournament, it might prompt them to find a better venue.

It was a great tournament, and more available to the kids in NW Kansas. The concessions definitely need to be fine tuned though! Just curious if the results will be posted?

FHSU had the concessions. There's probably a few things here and there that need to be worked out to make this tournament one of the bigger and better tournaments in the state. I'm glad to see suggestions and compliments about our tournament not a lot of bitching and whining. Our tournament director will be posting the results soon. Thank you for attending and I hope it continues to grow.

We traveled from Eastern Kansas to attend the tournament and enjoyed ourselves. FHSU is a great venue to hold a tournment. The tournament ran smoothly and we were out of there by 4:00 PM. Placers received nice hardware and the brackets were decent. We also enjoyed visiting Hays, Kansas. We will be back!
