Reminder: The Novice Championships are for FIRST YEAR KANSAS wrestlers ONLY. No prior wrestling experience before Sept 1 2023. For example if the wrestler competed 2 years ago only in one tournament, then quit wrestling and returned, they are not allowed to wrestle in this Tournament. There are NO exceptions, THIS IS A FIRST YEAR WRESTLING TOURNAMENT. We have had to disqualify wrestlers in the past for trying to enter. If it is brought to our attention that a wrestler is not a first year wrestler, and there is proof, they will be disqualified with no refund.

For those utilizing the Maize High satellite location for both Derby Wrestling Club events this weekend, please pay close attention to the following information...

* Times: 5:00-6:30pm
* WE WILL NOT BE USING THE WRESTLING ROOM
* Weigh-ins will take place in the FEMA Room (see map below)
* MHS is hosting a home basketball game, so we can't be in the hallways. Enter/exit directly through the outside FEMA Room doors
* Enter the FEMA Room through the double doors on the west side of the building
* There are three different parking lots you may utilize (see map)
