Kyle ash is from OK. I think JR Roman will do well also at 115. 88# is stacked 120 is also stacked. Trent Robb should take 120.

100# - Conklin,Sanchez, Graves, BT Ohara, Blew, Little, All look Tuff. Then you have how it played out in salina. Then all the Junior high that got out late in the mix and the top dogs that didnt go to Salina. Some good kids will be on the outside of this bracket. Should be fun to watch.

All the brackets are tough by the time the kids reach 12u. 76,80,84 and 88, 92, 100 all have kids that have won major national tournaments. I am sure many others do as well, but those are the ones I am familiar with. There are SEVERAL great kids in each of these.
All that said my vote for the toughest...88pounds! Did you see that weight at Wichita????

WSEWC, Dryden dropped to 72???? Please confirm. I know Lohman is at 76.
All the weights in that range 72-88 have that many state placers in them by the time you get to 12u. All the kids will have to bring their "A" game to place. I am sure there are several other weights like this as well.
Good luck to all.

Yes, 72-88 are loaded as indicated by the number of state placers that got beat out at the classic at these weights. My understanding is that Dryden will be at 72, although I do not see how he can make it. Lohman has wrestled at 72 this year, so I assumed that he would be there for state. Also, Helms of AC was brought up, but he will be at 68. Also, there will be a couple of good kids from D2 that will not even qualify.

120, where to begin, dalton beard -state/ national champion, trent robb- multi state/ nation placer, shawn marlett state champ/ national placer, josh hernandez, baintner multi state placer, thats just a few to begin with. All will be difficult to beat. im sure any of them would love another challenge so come on up to 120, its anything but easy. it will be some of the best wrestling at state.

I think you guys are seriuosly overlooking D4 at 100 pounds. Several wrestlers above didn't fare to well in Hays. Conklin and Campbell both loss to Ash at Salina. Little took third after Campbell injured his ankle in the 1st period. All the wrestlers are solid but Conklin and Campbell will meet in the semi's and one will go back door. If they get put on opposite side of the bracket at State it should be Conklin and Campbell for the finals, A repeat of last years Finals at 10/90.

What do you mean you don't know how Dryden will make that weight? Come on now, I see that kid every day at practice. He won't have a problem making weight.

I am sure that Dryden will make whatever weight he declares, he always has. He just seems big and he has competed at 80 hasn't he. So that seems like a big pull. The statement however was more of a figure of speach than anything as a response to what 24/7 said. It was not meant to be offensive as it appears you have taken it.
