Coach Finkeldei:

Kindly put in a good word to start the finals matches at 152 lbs. so those of us who will be at other local tourmanents, which we will attempt to end early, will have the opportunity to watch the 145 lb. final.

PLEASE!!

Maybe you're not an ugly human, but a good looking ape.....with exceptional verbal skills.

Doesn't this have to be decided and announced several days prior to the tournament by rule?

In dual competition rule 1-1-2 applies and states "Competition in dual meets shall be conducted by a random draw of weight classes. The draw shall take place immediately following the conclusion of weigh-ins."

In tournament competition, I believe the tournament director has the lattitude to start at any given weight with subsequent matches to follow in traditional order.

I think last weekend at the Derby Inv. tourney, they started the finals at the 130lbs thru 275lbs, then went to 103lbs thru 125lbs. I thought it worked real well.
