I think the kid from Columbus that won at 171 was a defending state champion in 4a. They were just picking pig tails randomly. There were a couple of ranked kids in the pig tails.

Mike Steinmetz lost in the semis to Nate Payne. He tore his bicep and injury defaulted his next two matches for a 6th place finish.
