what a barn burner! With the win Saint Francis shares NWKL league championship with Goodland and Colby. Colby won first duel of the year 35-34 against St. Francis back in early December, and Goodland defeated Colby.

lots of close matches, Smull wins with reversal with 2 sec. left in match , Brown wins with reversal with 10 sec. left to hang on for the win. Wilger takes down Starr with 17 sec. left. lots of close great matches!

it was so loud you couldnt hardly hear yourself think! feet stompin, crowd screamin, the place was a rockin! a lot of fun, reminded of me of the good 'ol days back in the 70's when the league championship was St. Francis and Goodland, and the title was decided in the heavy wieght match! wow! it was Broadcast on the radio, i cant imagine what it was like for the broadcasters trying to speak over the crowd.

well since Colby lost thier duel to Oberlin friday night, St. Francis, should be sole champions of the NWKL after defeating Goodland.

Sounds like it was a lot of fun. Congrats to St. Francis.Just goes to show how tough the wrestling in the NWKL is week in and week out. Besides Goodland, St. Francis, Colby and Oberlin you have Oakley, Hoxie, Rawlins Co. (Atwood) and Quinter. No wonder nobody knows from dual to dual or tournament to tournament which team is going to win. Hard to predict.
