Overall who's the most impressive wrestler you've seen in all weight classes thus far this year?
A few that come to mind for me are Baldridge b/c he pinned Weatherbee and also Nick Newell of Beloit since he played basketball the last 3 years of high school then decided his Senior year to wrestle and has had this kind of success, also Elijiah Madison of Salina Central impressed me in the finals of the Prairie Senior Classic in Hays

Tristan Deshazier from Wichita West I think. He has dominated virtually everyone he has wrestled and he is the defending 2x state champion going for his third this year. What do you think

I put in a vote for Trevor Richards and Dylan Lloyd of Sainty. Also Blake Malloy from Shawnee Heights beat Derek Ross of Sainty. Ross hadn't been touched this year.

Tristan is a dog out there. he is really tough but there are a lot of good ones out there....Grater surely has to be thrown out there

Collegeprof... Any wrestler who goes out and licks their thumbs "Daniel Boone style" before he pins a fish like he did in the Blackwell OK dual gets my vote! He's lucky the weights were not as they are today. The WW kid is good, no doubt, but needs a lesson in sportsmanship. All you have to say is "west is in the house"!

I'd say Mitch Arnold b/c he won Newton TOC as a freshman.
I'm already putting money on him winning state too.

I think that James Sparks from Emporia is an impresive wrestler. He beat a 5-A State Champ and this is only his sophmore year.

hansen from turner has dominated 103 since christmas break(when he began his season). one post on here talked about how him and keller from bishop carroll should be a dogfight in the state finals...however they met at chanute and hansen pinned him. hansen is undefeated and it doesnt look like that will change anytime soon.

I like Spencer Burns from Cimmaron-- I think that he is the equal of most of the more talked about wrestlers , likely doesn't get the exposure because he didn't wrestle at any of the really prestigious tournaments this year, but with some good performances at Fargo this summer, and only one loss in the last 2 seasons, he certainly can compare records with most of the guys that have been mentioned. also he doesn't seem to act like he has to try to injure everyone he wrestles--seems to realize that every opponent is worthy of a good, clean match. ability is very impressive, but not being a thug is pretty important, too.

Burns is a stud, he gets my vote as well. He probably would have given Shippers a match @ 145 last year, if it wasn't for the appendicitis sp? I think he could have been a state finalist and will this year too
