Thanks for the response and excuse me but I will try and get this thread back on topic.
First, as I am nearly half-a-century old, I doubt my choice to have a tattoo added will be some sort of juvenile whim. Second, any additional art work on my body, will be cafefully considered as for self-meaning and taste. Third, vanity has absolutely nothing to do with it.
I want the art work to be something that reflects my true love for the sport and is "different" from what most have.
Nick, I like the sounds of yours but it would not be suitable for me.
Any ideas on art that might interest me.
p.s. Parkwayred, what happens if my hairline dips below the mower?

Randy, I agree it can be done, and done respectfully. I actually have a tattoo and would like more. I made the decision to have them represent something that is of value to me. As amazing as it is, I don't know as much about you as I should, we really do have to make the effort to get together more at some of these tournaments. I would suggest though, is there something about wrestling that is of value to you, a child who did well, a coach who meant something, a school, things like that. Then think of something unique that will allow others to ask questions when they see it. I have discovered one thing, Tattoo artists are just that, artists and they can adapt pretty well to the requests and suggestions you make. I never tire of explaining the Keystone on my arm as not being the beer company but the place I grew up and the friends I had who are no longer around. For me it gives me a chance to pay tribute to them, and the things I believe God has done for me. Reminders of these types of things can add value beyond the artwork that will someday turn to dirt, if you catch my drift here. Good luck though and I await seeing it. If you get it let me know. Have you seen the logo for the t-shirts. I actually think that would make a great tattoo but will wait before getting it.
I would recommend thinking about these things and then going from there as to what the tattoo will actually look like.

Sure do. At one time it looked like a caveman on a rampage. Now it looks like a bad idea.

Hey! Who is infantry wrestler? and by the way, about a month ago, I went to the KU wrestling club's first meeting and saw Benjamin Suh there. Ben wrestled for about 2 seconds and then got his tooth knocked out. I just wanted to say that i am sorry that happened to him and I hope he is alright. (no it wasnt me that did it) second, I think Matt jenkins must have a man-crush on my or something because my little brother, who goes to school with him and is on the football team warming the bench with him told me that I am all Jenkins talks about. pretty wierd if youa ask me.
anyways, I havent made a post in a while and I am sorry about that, I will try harder.

oh yeah, and by the way, I got a tattoo but it wasnt for anything about wrestling. It is of a totally sweet cross design that I designed myself. so i think you should think long and hard before you get a tattoo and make sure you will not be ashamed of it later on in life.

Yes, its true. I was at the KU wrestling club practice for about 15 minutes when I was about to return Tim Fitzgerald ('03 State Qualifier for Wichita Heights) to the mat and got elbowed in the mouth. My front tooth was broken in two and the nerve was heavily exposed. Needless to say, a rootcanal, crowns and a fake tooth were used to patch it up. Man did that really freaking suck

....get the double x - brand on your hip, and a green plastic ear tag with an assigned number, but becareful when you cross state lines, they'll want your brand inspection certificates...
warned my son, if you get a tat while in my house, i'll exercise my 9" grinder and take it off...or a piercing id be happy to remove with my pliers...
later in life they fade and look terrible, awful hard to get rid of if you ever change your mind..
not to mention that a lot of cases of "hep c" and other funk, that are spread from unclean needles at tat shops...
uhmmm.... lets see.. some ink on my arm or a liver transplant later in life......keep your ink, i'll keep my liver thank you.
..not even a nice bottle of chianti' and some farver beans would convince me either :p
God gave you a body that can take almost anything, its your mind you have to convince -vince lombardi
