Chase Verdoorn (MO) (151-8) (3)

275:
Tom Curl (NJ) (145-6) (2)
Justin Moody (WA) (110-11) (9)

NOTE: Dyer lost 4-3, Carroll lost 3-2 and Verdoorn is a KC guy who made the finals at 215. Almost had a Metro Classic Rematch between Josh and Chase. Blair Academy, NJ has 3 kids from their SCHOOL in the finals. Man, recruiting in High School has it's advantages. No KS guys in the finals, but a better team performance overall.
Make you predictions...........

189 was stacked at Nationals. Dyer lost his last 3 matches 4-3, 5-2 and 1-1 in 2OT. He finished 6th. Same thing happens to many good wrestlers. They are on the brink...1 point from the finals and they lose focus and get beat. Take nothing away from Justin, I enjoyed watching him and coaching against him for 4 years. I wish him good luck at OU.

Metzler went 1-2 @ 125. He received a bye, then won by fall, then lost 8-5, then lost 5-3 in ot. None of the people he wrestled medalled in what may have been the largest bracket in the tournament.
