I was wondering if the results of the 6 & U State Championships from last weekend in Ottawa will be posted or whom is the right person to contact for these results. Thanks

How many kids participated in the 6 & U State Championship ? Were there other sites besides Ottawa?

I think That they said that there were 242 kids competing sunday. I went and it was a great tourney, all the kids had a great day of wrestling and kudos to the Ottawa mat masters for putting on a great tourney...Thanks!!!!

I must agree with hwtsmom. I thought that Rick & his club did an OUTSTANDING job with the 6 & Under State Tournament. The plaques were FIRST CLASS and I know it meant a great deal to the kids that received them. (My son carried his around all night and took it to school the next day). If you have never been to OTTAWA for any tournament, you and your wrestlers are really missing out on a GREAT time.

I also thought the tournament directors did a great job and would like to thank them for giving the 6 & u the recognition they deserve. I do have a concern about wrestling a 32 man bracket in one day or in 5 or 6 hours actually. I understrand it's hard to take up a whole weekend. But there were several wrestlers who wrestled 6-8 matches and some with less than 20 min. rest. I think a good way to solve the problem is to allow them to wrestle in subs, districts and state. There alot of 6 & u who wrestle up anyway.

Maybe I'm checking in the wrong place, are the 6 and under results going to be posted this year?

I must be looking in the wrong place also because I can't find them either....I really hope that they get recognition also because they count as much as the older kids in my opinion.....Tami
