There once was a kid who was owned by a sport,
It controlled his life, his dreams and everything of sort.
This sport gave him shelter, strength and need,
Who would have known it also planted a seed,
He will starve and thirst more than the rest,
But soon he will grow and become the very best,
I have to win, for it's my fate,

As I sit in my room and I look back on how far I've come and how the road to get here has been shaped it hit me. I had a poem on my wall with all my other medals, articles, and everything else I have about myself and wrestling, I got to reading it and thought I'd share it with you. As my Senior year draws to a close, I realize I may never wrestle again and thought this poem really showed how I feel and puts into words better than I ever could how I feel right now. I hope you will all copy it off and put it somewhere that you can pass it on to other people.

that really was deep alex, unlike you i'm not a senior, i'm a freshman. i've only got 3 more years to do this wonderful sport. and i will give it all i have.

You don't really realize how true it is, until you're thinking about wrestling by yourself and read it....

Even though I don't wrestle, I am a wrestler's sister and I have been around the sport since I was born. I love wrestling more than anything (I know, I'm weird, huh?) Well I've known a lot of wrestlers, and I have seen a lot of them graduate, which kinda makes me depressed in a way, that their seasons of wrestling are over, for highschool anyways. I know some of the seniors that are graduating this year and its really sad to think about how I've seen them wrestle since I was born, and now it's gone in an instant. Next year, my brother will graduate and his last highschool tournament I'll probably cry! Good luck to everyone in the future!
