I'm trying to get a match set up a match at the state tournament. The trophy will be there and everything. I need to now who all would be able to attend. I would like for the original 5 wrestlers all be there. I also would like for possibly Koran to be there to ref and for the Swayz there for the fun of it if at all possible. Let me know ASAP.

I can probably make it...maybe I'll be on the mic to explain rules as we go or be one of the coaches?

As long as you don't insult me too much, that would be great.

Curtis, don't ask the Swayz to work a miracle. I will be there to help in any way possible. If people want to see this, I really believe they are going to have to push really hard. I'll leave it at that for now so push hard and make lots of request. I'll comment more regarding Tyler and support from the state level later in the week.

depending on the date i'd go but if it's the week of spring break then i'd not be able to go. i'm going to OK and MO then and i'd not be able to go of it's next weekend. trust me i'd love to do it i'd give anything to do it but my g/f and her parents have already put up with so much with my wrestling and they have this planned already. so... if there is any way to do it than i'll be there. but only if it goes around their plans. so let me know.

I think that Denis is a go, he really enjoyed the deal Sunday, and said that as the rules and strategies get more solid, it is realy a challenging enterprise. Count him in! I will also talk to Cole Kreutzer about it, as I am sure he would be interested as well.

I had a good time with the tag wrestling Sun. All the kids seem to love and if you get something going at District or State I would be happy to reff or just keep score.

Is this THE STEVE HERMAN, if it is wow! Seriously Steve thanks for helping out, especially since I couldn't be there. From a wrestling officials perspective, I think it would be great to hear either yours or Shane's opinion on this. I know it all started in fun and all, and motivated by Tyler. There are like 10 of us who will always be the ones who got it started so maybe we are biased in what we think of it, but to hear the opinion of a respected official like yourself would be great.
I was surprised at how much fun and entertaining tag team was from a spectators perspective. I also believe that some on a "State" level might be reluctant to have something like this at State to bring awareness to Tyler, but in those situations I believe they might be surprised at how much fun it was and how much integrity for the sport of wrestling is involved. Anyway, I am glad you helped and hope the guys didn't throw too many rule changes at you. Your thoughts on the above would be appreciated.

Guys all of the discussion is great and I want to see it happen, we need to be asking the tournament people, and have the wrestling community as a whole asking for the event. I'll email Juby, and the Graters today, but the more people request to see this the better the chance of seeing it. I have spoken to a number of people this week who observed the match at Derby and there is NOTHING but positive and excitement about Tyler's Tag Team Wrestling. For those who have not seen it though, we have to recognize that many of them will see it as a joke. I would encourage people not having the faith, any of them, to contact Steve Herman, Shane Koranda, any of the Derby Club and officials, who have told me they have never seen so many people at a tournament have so much fun, including the parents and kids. Ask about the beneift of watching top wrestlers in our state using technique that coaches have been coaching and the kids get to see it first hand. Ask about High School Wrestlers, who by the end of the year should be burnt out, asking to wrestle some more because the style is so much fun. We have to promote this, and I would love to see the tournaments, exhibition at Sr. Classic and Kids State all take place, but it is amazing at how little respect some issues on the forum are given. And, unfortunately, I say that as a moderator. (Maybe fortunate, at least I know more than one way to havce some fun.) Last note, did anyone video this? I would love to have the video of this match and the one at Buhler.

I believe the plan is to only have one match, and there will be three people on each team. Right now here are the people involved: Me, Cole Caylor, Andrew Gossett, Denis Fairleigh, and Cole Kreutzer. The teams will more than likely be the last three listed against the other two and whoever is the sixth wrestler. Right now Cole and I are deciding on who our last partner will be. And thank you to everybody wanting to get involved. Even if you aren't involved, it would be great if you could come and watch, and experience it firsthand.

Boys, you are going to be honored to represent a fine young man named Tyler Graebner. It has been agreed upon to demonstrate Tag Team Wrestling for Tyler in front of thousands of fans in the Kansas Topeka Expo Center during Kids State next weekend, March 26, 2005. Here are the details: The Tag team Wrestling will happen Saturday afternoon. The Group needs to be ready by 1:30 pm.I need to know who is coming to wrestle before Thursday, March 24, 4:00 PM. You can call me on my cell phone at 316-841-5814. I also need brief bios of each wrestler. And if you need a pass let me know. Fellows, as your tag team commissioner, I expect all out tag team wrestling, this is a huge stage and to have the opportunity to do this is incredible. Our state is doing this in honor of Tyler, now let's come through and get the best of the best for the demonstration. I don't know of Shane Koranda or Steve Herman are going to be at state, but guys, we need some officials if you are there, if not, we will find some but when giving the display, lets stick to those that know the new and upcoming sport the best. Also, If you guys need a pass to get in, email or call me to let me know. Last thing. If any of you need a place to stay Friday night, let me know. I have a suite in Topeka and I will find a way to at the very least make floor space, of course that will take place after receiving your families visa or master/card to pay for any damages you may do the room that is listed in my name. None of us can than the state committee enough for this, they are taking a chance because Tyler Graebner is such a great kid and has done so much for wrestling. All of you who have participated in the past, know what this is all about. It is why I am honored to know you, each of you have given so much back to the sport, now let's all make this exhibition all it needs to be to let others know of our appreciation for Tyler Graebner.
