How can we blame the media for lack of coverage when high school tournaments don't make sure their results are in to every major newspaper in time for the Sunday edition? How many people only read the Sunday paper and thus get no exposure to our sport?

There were 17 schools at this tournament and the FInals did not end till 10pm so it wouldnt have made the papers anyway. Some of the winners I can remember were 103 - Mosley - Wichita Ind 112 - Burtin -Eureka 119 - Lopez - Fredonia 125 - Barrett - El Dorado 135 - Hensley - Rose Hill 140 - Tyler - West Elk 145 - Strawder - Burlington 152 - Mambleton - LC 160 - Freisburg - Caney 215 - Galvan - West Elk

My intent wasn't to pick on Fredonia but ALL the tournaments that did not send in their results. In this day and age when most all are using computer programs and the finals are starting early it is inexcusable for the results not to be in the Sunday papers.

at 130 it was Kaleb Lowmaster of El Dorado and 171 was James Watts also of El Dorado. and the 152 pounder is named Hambleton not Mambleton. besides the kid's a great actor. why not give him another name. just ask chad carter. he should have won that match but every time that Hambleton got tired he pretended that he was going to pass out. even the official knew that it was crap.
Everyone needs an inspiration like Tyler. He fought harder than anyone ever has on a wrestling mat and it was for his life.

About Joey Hambleton did you know that he is only a freshman. I saw that match Hambleton dominated the whole 2 and 3 period. They only stoped the match 1 time for injury and how do you think Carter should of won when Hambleton put him on his back twice before the injury time out? I think Carter is a good wrestler but Hambleton dosent get intimidated by seniors and has beat alot of them this year.
