Does anyone know the records of the top 6 ranked heavyweights in 6A? There aren't a lot of familiar names, so I was just wondering how everyone has been doing this year.
Congrats, Aquinas! Great job, Hat Town! Salyer Rules!

oh let me think garret jones, bvnw, has only one loss, from carrera smn. carrera with 3, 2 to garret jones and that punk lancerM. just kidding, it was a close match 2-1. lancerM did something carrera is not used to at heavyweight, be able to wrestle all 3 periods. haha

Luke Costello is like 16-4 or something like that.
I broke my toe at state... but I still got a better medal than Lancerm.

Yeah, they dropped him down for my senior night last Tuesday. I say my senior night because I was the only senior there.

The first period we both took a couple of shots but it ended with no score. The second period I took down and reversed him about a minute into it and them rode him out. The third period I rode him the whole time but he got a stalling point with 17 seconds left. It was pretty close, he nearly escaped a few times but I got pretty close to turning him too. I also almost gramby'd to my back in the second period which was a bummer but oh well, it was a pretty sweet match.

Hot sauce and a roll of dirty toliet paper LancerM. I am impressed. Ray is a tough wrestler and beating is worth bragging rights forever.
Heck u should move up to heavy and not have to cut any and win state now!
P.S. When Carerra gets into the 3rd period, he looks like he is absolutely drenched in sweat. I bet its like wrestling a wet bar of soap.

Yeah, I heard that, I just figured I'd go for it anyways. But why would you guys have thought that a 215 pound kid would have tried a gramby in the first place?

Tyler Jessen of Wichita Northwest shouldn't be overlooked.

because you where setting up for it for the longest time. oh and LancerM, you better watch out tommorrow, i saw the brackets today, and if our 215 wins ,not stewart but our stud 189 back up, he will face you next. Do i smell upset? He hasn't lost a varsity match all year, with a record of 0-0.

yes, jessen should be right in the mix of things... as for his record goes im not sure how many wins he has but he only has 5 losses, 1 was to tad greer of el dorado, he lost twice to the kid from dodge city at the newton tournament (but he also pinned this same kid earlier at the heights tournament and he had a hurt back at the newton tournament), a.d. mayes from manhattan, and the kid from mcpherson.

Yeah, I've heard about him! His mom is the receptionist at our school and we talked this afternoon. It should be a true match of champions.
