How can you say something like that? Also I think you have your topic name mixed up, I think maybe your thinking of Grant Parker, a totally different person.

Yeah, he must be dyslexic. Anyway, I am in deep grieving that Grant Parker did not win. This is a serious blow to the thin threads of hope that keep me from slitting my wrists.

I've enjoyed Prants remarks on this forum. I think I've learned something about the young man just from reading his posts. To me, Prant knows he may not be the best wrestler in the state but enjoys the sport and loves to write about it. He told us in one post, his brother was a talented wrestler but Prant never claimed to be the greatest. In one post, he told us he finally had a winning record (16-15) or something like that. I think you needed to read between the lines to get his ideas or thoughts. When he got on someone, it was usually a team member or coach. I think it was all in fun. Prant, I enjoyed your posts, and congrats on making it to state. Good luck in tennis(you told us you were a tennis player). Since you are a senior, we will miss you next year. I don't know anything about you but maybe you should consider journalism for your future. Good Luck

I think I speak for the entire Colby High School coaching staff. (we have four coaches) Prant Garker has been a breath of fresh air on this forum. Granted (no pun intended), his posts are "off the wall" at times, but his wit goes beyond the everyday ..."I'll kick your butt at State"... nonsense that some of these clowns like to post. He does have a certain flare with words, and a genuine passion for our sport.
Mr. Parker/Garker which ever applies... best wishes in your pursuits, and please stay in touch with your fans on here.
P.S. We thought you had that second match in the bag.
... the world will little note, nor long remember what we said here, but it should never forget what they did here...

Why do you make so much fun of someone who made it to state and went 0-2? He is in the top 16 in his weight class in the state. There are alot of good wrestlers who are at home and didnt make it.

I've missed Prant this year since we don't go to school together anymore, but I must say, it was still good to hear from him and keep up with how he was doing through his posts on the forums. He may have gone 0-2 at state, but I'm sure he left all he had on the mat for the team. Prant, keep up the good work (and the good eating - gaining 20 pounds in two days ain't all that bad!)
And for all of you who don't know him, he IS in journalism. I love Prant Garker!

Prant seems like a pretty fly guy. And he had some pretty sweet socks at state.
Oh snap.

Ditto to all the Prant Grant supporters! I have always been an athletic supporter ... WAIT, does that make a jock strap?
Anyway thumbs up to Grant Prant!

Prant is a jerk and not nearly as funny as he thinks he is. You guys have all been fooled by his wit. Screw Prant.

Super Duper Mystery Man, On this forum we used to have a Pamon Darker but he left and you showed up. Are you Prants big brother? I think by all the Manhattan posts, you and Boach Clack must help coach at Manhattan. Ollex Atto is a manager or maybe a coach. How many did I get right?

Prant, Congrats on making it to state. I came down to see you wrestle your second match. We were all (CHS coaches and wrestlers) pulling for you and thought you had it won. We told some of the wrestlers on your team that we really thought you were great and funny on the forum, but never got the opportunity to say that to you. So I'll tell you now, I like your sense of humor and your love for the sport and wish you the best in the future.

Prants the man. Though his exit at state wrestling was unfortunate, he's still got tennis.
