ya, i am still trying to make my decision on whether or not i should wrestle in the classic or even if i am available on that day because of baseball, i still am checking my schedule and for some reason my dad thinks i shouldnt wrestle because of baseball and just go out on top with a state championship, coach cathcart and coach peterman, What do you guys think as my coaches and peers?

I can understand that you want to be able to say to you won your last High School Match you ever wrestled. But you are a state champ and no one can take that away from you regardless of what happens at the Senior Classic. I would like to see you wrestle in it, I don't think Blue Valley North has had a representative at this thing in a while but ultimately the decission is yours. If you decide to wrestle it will be Chris Pulec from Stockton. Your boy Thompson won at the Metro Classic by one point...you could tell he was definetly winded by the 3rd period. I think your Baseball coach would understand. Anyway I will respect what ever you decide. Good Luck

Hey Spen, Coach Catchcart put it perfectly. It is an honor to be selected, and there is no pressure on you. You are a great wrestler, who won a tough state tournament, no one can take that away from you. It should be a good time, if its anything like the Metro Classic, and could be one last positive memory to a great season. What ever you choose, I will respect and understand, but you should make it soon. If they need to replace you, the person who is going to do that should be given time to get ready. I will be in touch!

Yeah, I knew you guys have known each other for a while.
And I say wrestle because it will be the last true wrestling competition of your life. In other words: Man up and wrestle the kid, who cares whether you win or lose. It'll be fun.

Hey they have some pretty nice equipment too! T-shirts, shorts and think they may even get a jacket. Coach Cathcart said it all. You are the State Champ and that will never change.
Whether you wrestle one more or not, is your choice and just remember I have trully enjoyed coaching you but also watching you wrestle, so I may be a little bias, for my decision to see you put on the fighting tights (a singlet) one more time. Good Luck on what ever you decide and yes we are up at Blue Valley North West on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:00 and 6:30 to 7:30 on Wednesdays which is live only wreslting. Remember the definition to "LUCKY" "When preparation meets opportunity" so if you decide to do it train and take it to the small school boys.
Coach Peterman
PS. Who is nearfall?
