Yes you heard right. Buhler High Wrestling Captains went undefeated this year in winning the coin toss before duals. "We may have not been winning all our duals, but we've won our coin tosses," one captain said. They hope next years recruit of captains can carry out the same achievement. Has anyone topped that?

1) I'd have to say that the odds of picking just one color and going undefeated would be an astounding accomplishment, but our leaders went with the flow and picked whichever color they needed to win. 2) Our coach would usually decide on the odd's and even's but that doesn't play into the undefeated-ness. 3) This accomplishment included three home duals, four away duals and the Maize dual tournament. 4) Unfortuneatly, we didnt have the chance to coin toss for our JV and I assure it would probably just boosted our winning percentage (100 %)

Manhattan lost all but 1 coin toss this year. However, we won every dual by at least 30 or 40.

you can be ceartian that Michael Sprigg (hwt norton) can be counted out of the runnings for coin flip champ. you could count on one one hand the # of times sprigg has won that all-important 1-2 period flip since the newton tourney... last year

My captains at Immaculata in 2000-2001, Will Vernon and Donnie Kiszka, went 10-0 in dual meet coin tosses that season. Not that it did us a lot of good — we went 1-9 in duals — but we were 10-0 in SOMETHING!!!

Being one of the aforementioned captain I think I speak for the other two in challenging all oncomers to a grueling best 3 flip-off.
Of course we'll have to know in advance who's in so we can have a seeding meeting prior to the tournament.
