They have been updated and are in the data base so let the bashing begin.
Here are the current top ten teams:
1. Andale 2. Colby 3. Clay Center 4. Goodland 5. Columbus 6. Abilene 7. Augusta 8. Santa Fe Trail 9. Concordia 10. Fort Scott

Farley from pratt is out for the season. He hasn't wrestled a match that I know of. Maybe their undefeated 171 Asher Riner should be ranked in his place.

He has even beat #3 ranked Brian Irsik at Liberal. I know its tough to get all this information, but I would love to know all the sleepers in the state before I went to my regional and if I was to qualify for state.

Coach DeWitt: Keep up the good work!! Anybody who can coach a team, put on a first-class 2-day tournament early in the season, teach classes, maintain a family life AND put together rankings in a 64-team class should have our undying thanks and appreciation...Job well done!

3 of the 4 are in the same league with my alma mater Chapman! Yikes! 4 of 10 in the same regional!
Tonight #6 Abilene hosts #9 Concordia!

And 4 of 10 are also in the Russell regional with a total of 8 ranked teams split between only two places. This makes the regionals in Altamont-Labette and Eudora look like a cake walk.

I agree that Riner should be ranked in 4A. Pratt also has another kid that will probably move into the rankings at 145. I believe that his only losses may be to Heckel. Coach Dewitt, thanks for all of the hard work.

What about Lang of Russell. he is ether 19-2 or 21-2, his 2 losses are to Nichols of Smith Center, and Mettlen of Scott City. 1st at Osborne, 1st at Minneapolis, 4th at Norton, and 1st at Russell. Keep up the good work coach. I think you do a wonderful job w/ the rankings.

Shelstin, are you talking about Prater at 145? He is wrestling very good this year and he is only a sophomore, but lost to someone from Great Bend in the Pratt Dual last Thursday.

Yeah, that probably puts him at three losses on the season at this point (that I am aware of). Two to Heckel and now one to the Great Bend kid. I will bet that he will be a champion before he's done.

How come these rankings have Clay Center ranked 3rd but the other slightly more recent rankings have them 6th and they've beat Andale
Baxter, Baxter is that you? Bark twice if your in Milwaukee.

the rankings are a "what have you done for me lately" kind of thing. after clay's disappointing performances at Newton and at Beloit, i really don't blame Mr. DeWitt for putting them 6th.
