Oh and I have a tale about eating a fastfood item before wrestling.
The night before the meet, I completely lost my mind from weight cutting and purchased an extremely plump Chipolte burrito for the weigh ins. I took this girl's half eaten burrito also. The time came and it was after the weighs for the Sunflower League championships and I had my usual eats, but topped it off with one full Chipolte burrito and ate the other half burrito in turn.
I was doing alright in warm ups and stretching and suddenly something quivered in my stomach and bowels. I almost quite literally crapped my boxers, singlet, shorts and warm up bottoms all in one fowl swoop. I dashed to the repulsively undermaintained Leavenworth bathrooms and release what i thought was some kind of manchild/alien out of my chute. To make a long story short, I had made about 40 trips to the toliet for my dear comrade, Mr. #2 throughout the entire meet.
Comments and disgusted responses are encouraged.

Comment: That was one of the best told and funniest stories I've ever read. Disgusted Response: I'm glad lunch isn't for another couple of hours because I don't think I could eat all that much with that story still fresh in my mind.

Prant, I am wondering, did you mean to use wrong "here" in the following? Originally posted by Prant Garker: I'm sorry. I couldn't here you...my engine was revving... I am not saying all my posts are grammatically correct, but you do pride yourself with flawless posts and feel this should be brought to your attention. Have a good one bud.

A few things: 1) Thank you, wrstlr07, for bringing that hideous abomination to my attention. It has been fixed. 2) Let us not forget that Jhris failed to qualify for state. Had he done so, he presumably would have won at least one match, seeing as how the 4 seed from our region (whom I had previously beaten...) accomplished that feat. And how many points did we lose a state title by that year? 1? Oh that's right. And how many points are awarded for a victory? Two. Hmm, seems as if the regional choking was worse than originally thought.... 3) Yes, the snap ruined the ENTIRE game. It had nothing to do with the fact that we had 51 yards of total offense... 4) It wasn't a safety. The snap gave ON an easy touchdown. Get it right. 5) Jhris, you forgot to mention to LancerM that our final match consisted of me getting the royal screwgee by freaking Chelsea. You see, Chelsea could not work a stopwatch, and thus in the period of the whistling blowing, me standing up (Jhris was unable to hold me, and could only push me out of bounds), Jhris stalling and pushing me out of bounds, 20 seconds elapsed. Now, even Jhris admitted quite soon after the match that it was a mistake by the time keeper. But did COACHTWINK AWARD BAD TIME, AS HE SHOULD HAVE??? OF COURSE NOT. BECAUSE HE'S A JERK. But it's cool...I'm over it...totally.... Can you guys tell that Jhris and I have had this argument 10000000 times before? Ha. Good times.

I must defend my honor here. I have absolutely no control over the time keepers abilities. I asked if the time was up and was told it was. Ia sked the other manager sitting there if the watch was stopped appropriately. She said it was. There wasn't anything else I as the impartial official could do. Besides, I feel the better wrestler (although not the funniest wrestler) did win, even if he did choke hard at regionals.
PS: A win on the consolation side only counts for 1 point. The Best Jhris could have done is tie it up if he had won a consolation match.
Any fool can criticize, complain, and condemn- and most do.

Come on Prant. This is becoming a real problem now. Again, originally posted by Prant Garker: The snap game ON an easy touchdown. Really, it has to stop. Think of the children. Those beady little eyes staring up at the monitor, watching their idol fall into the traps of misspelled words. Sure Prant, maybe it seems glamourous and exciting. And maybe all the cool kids are doing it too, but seriously. Misspelled words are nothing to mess around with. It starts with what we have above, but then pretty soon we start to see Prant posting "whos gonna domonate 6a" and "who makes the most super hila...funny jokes". When you get to a certain level (i.e. Venegas) maybe you'll pull yourself out of that mess. Remember Prant I'm only trying to help.

Prant, it's okay I understand. My practice partner and I always argue about what happened, what would've happened, and what didn't really happen at all except in his stupid little head that worthless lying coniving piece of crap. Excuse me.
But really you just have to move on.
And Jhris, don't worry about it. I too choked at state. If I had only won state rather than going two and out, then we would have easily cracked the Top Ten. I just couldn't take the pressure. In fact, sophmore year when this happened it was Kyle Hill of your very own school laying the smack down upon me. At least I think that was his name, correct me if I'm wrong. But hey, I was only a second year wrestler and he was bring the pain. There was nothing I could do.

Coachtwink, are you saying that Jhris wouldn't have beaten Josh Carrol? I'm shocked and appalled at your lack of faith in MHS 215ers. Regardless of who WOULD have gone to state had they qualified (i.e. not choked), I'm pretty sure they would have slayed the dragon that is Josh Carrol.
And I do believe it was obvious that those managers (pronounced muh-nog-ers, of course) had no idea what was going on. If the walls of the mat room could talk....well, they'd tell you you were superduper wrong. But I'm not bitter.
And LancerM, it was Kyle Hill. I am not ashamed to admit it- I have a man crush on him. Best practice partner ever. Ever. Freaking 189 pounds of solid squish, wrestled like a 103 pounder. Best low leg single ever, too.
It's not that we like to think what COULD have happened, it's more of a "who-is-a-more-terrible-athlete-and-is-ultimately-responsible-for-the-loss-of-state-championships" type of thing.

RocknRaider,
Sorry buddy, 2% body fat means you are dead. 5% is about as low as you can go and stay healthy. Maybe your coaches don't know how to read the measurements.

My coach had them today. I'll post them all under a new topic. In case you were wondering though, you're ranked second at 130. Yee-haw man.

john johnston- we have an electronic and by the way a very accurate body fat tester. I tested myself with it and it read "E4". this happened four consecutive times. i checked in the manuel what this "E4" business meant. it said that "E4" signifies four percent body fat or lower and cannot read lower. i did this before the wrestling season and was running 4 miles a day and lifting 4 times a week. As soon as the season started i cut weight hard, about 15lbs a week. and if one loses 15lbs a week...its just an assumption that my body fat would fall lower than 4% body fat...possibly 2%?

Everything I have ever read on body fat percentages says that 2% to 4% is the range for essential body fat. Essential means essential for healthy living. You are playing with fire if you target anything lower than 5% and you certainly should not be proud of the fact that you are abusing your body.

That earlier post was just a jk because being that skinny is just gross. I wasnt too happy myself when my hips were jutting from my body...all in good fun though.
I do understand where ur coming from about having body % that low. but im not the only person ive heard that has had body fat 2-4%. i think it is possible.

Hey, I didn't play the year you guys killed us that bad. My junior year we were tied going into the fourth quarter with us having first and goal on the one until our coach decided to pass it and we got sacked and then picked off. That's not my problem though. And hey, I sacked you...once...so suck it.
