Zouzas was OW...it says on the updated tournament results. Also here's a question does any tournament in Kansas give out a Gorrian Award for most falls in least amount of time?

Zousas also won the MLTAMC award.

Explain this whole Man Crushes thing, I can only assume this is a Manhattan ritual started by you and Mr Parker, I mean Garker.

The Eureka Invitational held on January 24, 2004 awarded an Outstanding Wrestler Award to Curtis Chenoweth of Clearwater and a Most/Fastest Fall Medal to the 112 lb. wrestler from Circle High School who recorded four (4) falls, with the longest match under 0:38 seconds.

Not to take anything away from Lucas for the outstanding award honor and congratulations for that, but is it not mor outstanding for someone to win this prestigious tournament that was not even expected to? I am referring to the kid from ClayCenter that won at the weight that Tracy Jordan was at. He beat the number one and two ranked kids I believe and had a record coming in at, I believe, 14 and 8. MAybe I am thinking wrong, but to me that is far more OUTSTANDING. THANKS.

Maybe its just me or maybe its just the coaches that voted for it, but beating a 3X state champ, soon to be 4X, seems pretty outstanding to me. I understand your point, and its validity holds for some, but I would have to say Zousas was by far the outstanding wrestler at Beloit.

Consider their competition, not to take anything away from them but Zouzas wrestled another awsome kid in the finals.

Just a small correction about 135. Lund beat Peterson #1 seed 11-4. Finley #3 seed beat Jordan #2 seed 2-1. Lund won in finals beating #3 seed not #2. The last time Jordan wrestled lund Jordan defeated him 9-1 15 minutes after beating Roe 12-10 in Clay Center. Lund wrestled a very good tournament. Zousas WAS the outstanding wrestler at the Beloit tounament. Jake Kriegbaum 4 time champion at Beloit got alot of votes also !!!

A minimum of 45 minutes rest is required between a wrestler's successive matches.

I don't think there is any way Zouzas was not going to win the OW wrestler yesterday. If Gilliland would have won the match, he would have deserved it.
The Clay Center kid was awesome, but he was not up to the level of the winner of the aforementioned Clash of the Titans. He does, however, earn the Most Outstanding Sleeper Pick By Me Award. If Lund comes to my house at any time, I will gladly give him 33% of my winnings from yesterday's pool. Thanks for coming through, buddy.
And Hat Town did not start the man crush. The man crush is from a Seinfeld episode, where George has a crush on Elaine's extreme sports-loving boyfriend, Tony. It's non-sexual, but a crush nonetheless. I think Zouzas picked up a few of those yesterday.

I remember that episode. George and Kramer were responsible for him falling off though mountain while climbing it. I think George was going for a sandwich.
