The one and only experience my son has had with TOHK was this weekend. Two coaches had watched him (on match 6) and afterward congrats and told him he did good. I was a little eery about TOHK based off this forum but went in open minded. From our experience and those I saw, if you treat them with the same respect you would have towards everyone else most of them will respect you the same. Yes they get a little hyped but what is wrong with that, they appear to be proud to wear their black and gray and they show it. As for the finger incident, how is that different than spitting in a ref's face or all the other incidents I have seen from other clubs over the year. If it is indeed true, it need not happen, but DO NOT CAST THE FIRST STONE!

As I stated above, IT NEED NOT HAPPEN. That does not condone the action, it states that any of the stated incidents should not have happened. By stating DO NOT CAST THE FIRST STONE, I am only stating that we all need to look at ourselves and what we have done (maybe some of us have done nothing). None of us are perfect and it is not OUR place to JUDGE others. Maybe USAWKS needs to create a way to file a report on such an occurance, with witness' of course (i.e.tableworkers, ref's). Thus ensuring the board knows what is going on out on the mat and matside.

Caton, Did you child win or lose against the TOHK kid? I am interested in knowing. It seems to me that the show sportsmanship when they win, but when they lose, they don't even no the meaning of the word. I was also on watching the match on mat #6. At one point during the third period when it was apparent that S. Slyter was going to when the match. The TOHK coach with the **** beads around his neck, turned around and while waiving his hand at the paola coaches said,"They're a bunch of m***** f*****'s. This was said loud enough that I heard it, so I know some of the kids had to of heard it.

My son did not wrestle a TOHK kid, but his friend did and the experience was fine (mat 6). The TOHK kid lost but the coaches showed respect to the winner. Do not judge the whole group from the actions of some of the coaches. It appears that a group of the coaches are causing problems while the others are fine. I am just stating my views and do not wish to be ridiculed for my views. I trying to give a view on the matter from the "outside".
