First of all I would like to state that i do have a great amount of respect for Jesse. He is the toughest kid I have had to wrestle so far(Justin Dyer may take him for that position at east/west). Him and I have wresled more times than I can count and I have never beat him. And for whoever said Dinkel got his *** kicked by Subleka, at 189, no decent wresler gets his *** kicked. But i think that no one has the right to say that "if the bracket were different, then this would have happened." Its over and we really can't speculate what the results would be if it were different. Even if the bracket were seeded differently i really don't think finishes would have been that much different. Everyone in the bracket wrestled the way they did for a reason. All the lines in the bracket lead to the Championship and its who wrestles the best and peaks in that certain week and on those two days. I accredit my coach, coach Giles, for doing just that. In my opinion the injury thing really shouldn't be an excuse in the state tournament. But I may be wrong. As for all of the trash talk on here, to an extent its okay but when fans trash wrestlers to much it gets old. Reply back if you don't think something I said was right or you don't agree.

Mortimer...I believe in alot of what you said,I do think how brackets get seeded does effect somewhat of the outcome however, but I might add I believe that in all brackets, you are a great kid and deserve all that you have gotten this year.I think injurys can play a part of how well one does regarding the type of injury however you are right that it all boils down to who did the best that weekend, and you did.I have watched all of you wrestlers wrestle and I think most any of you in that 189 bracket were deserving.I guess I just hate to see kids that wrestle hard get trash talked on here, especially by fellow wrestlers...you nor Abell, nor Dinkel deserve any kind of trash talking on this board, and I hope it stops. When you get into bracket seeding and the outcome I see brackets that I really did think the outcome would be differnt,Drennan and Pyle most surely should of been the championship match,so I stand by my claim that bracketing does have some effect on the outcome.I wish you the best of luck,as well as the other wrestlers, even tho my kids don't wrestle anymore it is fun to follow up on kids you have watched for numerous years through kids wrestling, middle school and high school, great job this year!

Mortimer, what I meant about Swhiart and Douglas not winning their regionals was they ended up the number 1 and 2 guy wrestling each first thing,I do believe Swhiart should of placed, however it is very hard to come back and place after losing your first match,it can be done, but it's alot of wrestling.I believe Swhiart was one of the better wrestlers that did not place however I also realize it was his own destiny to control.

hey drennan, mortimor, you, and johnson all fairly deserve and earned ur titles but it doesn't make johnson a better wrestler than martin, lets see you beat pyle three times in a season, nick is a two time state champ, its hard to beat a two time state champ four times in a row, martin is a better wrestler but that was nicks day

Wrestling hard for three periods every match makes Johnson a state champion, and better than Martin. I believe that Johnson's looses to Martin made him better, he learned from those matches and corrected his mistakes. I think Martin is a very good wrestler, but he should have learned to beat Johnson you have to wrestle tough the entire match. Johnson's a two time state champion and all the trash you've posted doesn't change that fact.

hey ybsmall, this is travis m, i didn't trash talk at all, if i trash talked then u did too, I respect nick very much, he wrestles all three periods and is very tough, i just thought i was a better wrestler, u think he is better, we are both entitled to our opinions, no trash talk, nick is an awesome wrestler though, he worked hard and he deserves it fair and square
