non official results
1.Valley Center 2.Baldwin 3 Kapaun 4.Blue Valley N. 5.Washburn Rural 6.Leavenworth 7.Wamego 8.Grandview 9.Olathe East ? 10.Oak Park JV ?
Outstanding wrestler: Ely Leavenworth 125lbs Upsets--Valley Center 119 over Livengood
I believe Ely-Leavenworth, Josiah Mason-Baldwin, Metzger-Olathe East, F.Jonas-KMC, Smith-WR were some of the wrestlers to finish 5-0 for the day, I am sure there were also others.
There was some outstanding wrestling going on throughout the day and the tourney was smooth and well done.

Oak Park JV beat Olathe East for 9th Place.
Also beat Leavenworth and tied Wamego in points but lost in criteria.
Oak Park JV had to wrestle both Baldwin and Kapaun in preliminary rounds. I would like to think we could have placed higher if we had been in the other pool. Then again who knows.
My son went 3-2 with wins against Baldwin, Kapaun, and Leavenworth. He lost to a state placer from Wamego and a state qualifier from Olathe East.
Valley Center looked pretty tough. Overall great competition and experience for our JV boys.

olathe east lost to oakpark jv by one to finish 8th. wamego and grandview finished 9th and 10th. Cameron Mitchell olathe east was 5-0 at 160 (first tourn back since 12-18-04, when he broke his neck against Erisman @ 152 quaterfinals Johnson County Classic) I think 160 was the toughest weight class. In addition to mitchell, Mason from baldwin, beau williams from valley center, jared brown from wamego, and jonas from kapaun-mt. carmel.
