If I voted, I would be forced to vote for the American. For obvious reasons, I am biased in favor of Americans, and not athletes from Uzbekistan.

Similarly, in the Olympics, I always cheer for the American athlete/team to be victorious.

Hey Pups, have you posted this on The Mat forum? Richard this isn't a vote of nationalism, it is a vote of the worlds best athlete. Do you really think Tiger Woods is a better athlete than is Taymazov? I don't see it as much about being for or against America as much as seeing it about having a chance to promote wrestling. ESPN did after all only give us one wrestler to consider. I think one of the wonderful things about polls of this nature is that it gives those of us who support wrestling a voice, imagine this; do you really think ESPN would thing that Tasymazov would beat Tiger Woods in any kind of a poll?

I am finally starting to get along with my friend Richard, a scary thought to some, but I agree with Pups on this one, go for the wrestler!
