I think Trevor is a very good wrestler, but i think the only reason Trevor beat Sean was because,it looked liked, Sean was cutting too much and had to energy towards the end. Sean was winning 5-1 and everything fell apart for him. Sean beat him a couple weeks before 10-4. I think that it should have been Sean verse Trevor to go to state. Trevor good luck next year, Sean good luck at state.

I agree, the little guy should be going and he had a really good freshman year. Too bad for him he had to run into you in the bottom of the bracket because of that unsportsman like call against you and that was it for him.
The kid he beat very soundly before that is going to State and he is not.
Tough way to end a Season.
Better Luck next Year Trevor

Trevor did excellent this season and he should be going to state, but stuff happens and he knows that. He has 3 more years ahead of him and he will work on the things he needs to.

Yea an it was a unnessasary roughness an patentally dangerous call not unsportsman like get it right. The reason I say it was both because the ref called both an couldnt make up his mind which one it was.

Cody -

Thanks for the kind words about Trevor. He wrestled his heart out against Bloodgoo and came up a little short (Corey is an excellent wrestler with no quit in him). Life is not always fair and Trevor realizes this.

I would like to commend you on the way you controlled yourself after the horrible referee's decision that was made in your quarterfinal match. You controlled yourself like a man, accepted the outcome and came out and wrestled well on saturday (much to Trevor's dismay). I think many younger wrestlers learned a valuable lesson by watching you this weekend.

As for the call, not only was it bad for you, but it kept the best four wreslers from advancing to the state tournament. Because of this, it also skewed the state brackets and will cause deserving wrestlers to go home finishing lower than they should have had it been set straight. There needs to be a way to correct this sort of thing in the future (although I really don't know how).

Good luck to you at state and don't let that call keep you from hammering away - that is your style and you should stick to it.

Well,no matter what the Ref called it he ended up with egg on his face! Bacause it was a terrible call and just like Coach Terrell said it's going to cause and already has caused problems and upsets. But that's life.
Good luck to you at State and yes, you did handle yourself very well threw that entire mess. People did and can learn a lot from the way you behaved yourself.
Could luck to Trevor for the next three years!
