i seriously think that kansas and missouri should both have a grand state...take the top 4 from each classification and have them in a grand state

and then have a real kansas vs. missouri dual not just a metro one and do it on the weekend so wrestlers don't worry about driving home late and not making it to school the next day...this would surely draw a lot of attention and probably more college scouts

its easy.....have seeding meetings just like a normal tourny and let coaches duke it out over where their wrestlers should be...have the grand state the following weekend after state and then you can have your kansas missouri dual whenever after that in real fashion ...no seven pound allowence...none of that crap ...kansas on one side missouri on another spot lights on the mats only...this could most definately be a bas a$$ event

I totally agree. An event like this would straight up be incredible for wrestling publicity wise. Two states duking it out in a tournament fashion w/ a grand (2) state title as the stakes. Every paper from here to the eastern end of Mizzou to the furthest western parts of Kansas would be covering a two state showdown w/ the elite athletes from kansas and mizzou battling it out.

Seeding would in my opinion could be a quite the dilly of a pickle. So many creditials and state titles between wrestlers could cause some heated arguements between coaches. Also cutting hard for one more tourney would take its toll on a few state studs that r sucking down hard...

they should do it like they do ks state as a random pairing

that way no one could argue bout where the wrestler ended up
