Well I guess MR WHITE can quit talking smack since ole Jake got BEAT by Pat Vogelsberg in the finals. Now you can go off and say how it was a close match and how poor Jake should of won but the bottom line was good wrestlers find a way to win and that is what Vogelsberg did! Besides Jakes loss, what the hell was up with his hair. Was Snoop Doggy Dog in the locker room doing his hair, giving him wrestling tips, and sipping on some gin and juice? Well Weishaar, I guess good luck next week at state, DAWG!

You can't forget that Weishaar was barely in the finals. He was losing his quarter finals match by 5 and came back to win by 2. In his semi finals match he threw a headlock to start off the match at 5-0 and ended up getting outscored (and out wrestled) in the last 2 periods to end up winning 7-5.

It was a good match. Sorry you didn't like my little brothers hair; but you don't have to talk trash on here then not put your name. Anyways since you're so into wrestling I figured you would know that what really matters is what happens next weekend. See you at wichita.

Pat and Jake did have a good match. I don't think we need cussing or making fun of someone. Their hair, skin color or handicaps have nothing to do with this wrestling forum. Like one person said, good wrestlers find ways to win and Jake did that his first 2 matches. I'd like to know how many times Pat has been put on his back like he was at regionals. Only those 2 know what kind of match it was. I hope they have the chance to meet at state once again. Lets not make this a personal forum, that is not what is all about. HEY THANKS FOR INFORMING ME THAT WEISHAAR LOST. BEING HIS OLDER BROTHER I WOULDN'T KNOW THAT HE LOST. I WAS UNABLE TO BE THERE BUT FROM WHAT I HEARD IT WAS THE TYPE OF MATCH UP PEOPLE LIKE TO SEE. NO ONE OVER POWERED THE OTHER AND IT CAME DOWN TO THE LAST SECOND. BUT THAT IS WHAT WRESTLING IS ALL ABOUT. I DIDN'T EVEN WRESTLE BUT FOLLOWING MY BROTHERS HAS GIVEN ME A LOT OF RESPECT FOR THE SPORT. AND I KNOW THAT WHEN TWO GOOD WRESTLERS MEET UP IT IS SOMETHING SPLENDED TO WATCH. I think Jake will come out on top in wichita, now he knows whar to do and how to do it I am sure, he has pinned or spread many state ranked guys, he wrestles up, and there were two times when he almost lost in two seprate matches....the finals just caught up to him.

I don't think that jake is even in the picture anymore. Pat will be in the finals, against either Howell or Demerast. My guess is Howell and Vogelsberg

I would like to apologize to Mr.White for what I said about jake W. Jake has imporved drastically since last year and is now a great wrestler. I can see him making it to the semi-finals, but to make it to the finals he will have to be at his best, so yes i would have to also put him as a possibility for the finals, and i am sure jake won't mind that to much b/c Pat will be there waiting for him. And that to me would be another great match up.

I think no one should count out the Baldwin kid. Watching the finals at Regionals, I thought he was very improved wrestler compared to when I saw him earlier in the year. I see him making it through the bracket and into the finals. Pat Vogelsberg is going to have it tough. He has Lattimer probably in the quarters and after that is unpredictable. All I know is, whoever makes it into the finals will be well deserving of it.

Are you kidding me? I from Atchison and I have seen Jake wrestle for a while. "Good and Solid" are not words I would use to describe him! Vogelsberg will do well down at Wichita.

oldmule, I can't believe you would talk trash on someone from your home town. Jake will show everyone who the real 171#'ers are come Friday and Saturday. Prediction: Jake Weishaar/Kyle Flory, state champ!
