It has more to do with a lack of administrative support, I will leave it at that.

At the sake of sounding patronizing, I realize that it's pretty spread out — incredibly so. And you guys are getting royaly screwed on the deal. My guess is that it speaks to the fact that there are fewer and fewer 4A schools past Salina. My guess (or my hope at least) is that next year things will lighten up for you guys out west. Of course that means those of us out east will get it, but then again it's probably our turn!

Trammel I think that they are wrestling up to the semis on the front side and then one or two rounds on the back-side but I'm not for sure. My coach said something like that.

Have Bloodgood and Bell wrestled yet this year? I know that Bell placed third at Basehor and Bloodgood didn't place. If they haven't wrestled each other yet, I'm going to have to go with Bell by major.

Bloodgood beat Bell the week before at Bonner Springs 16-10. Bell appeared to either be out of shape or hurt though.

I'm pretty sure Bloodgood beat Bell on a match they wrestled earlier this year, but that doesn't mean anything. I'm more than sure both have been working hard in practice in order to get ready for the big match this week.

Just so you know, Fish Hunter, Compton will be wrestling 189 this weekend, not 215

BigRedCoach I'm not sure who Compton is or how good he is but at regionals he would probably have a better shot at 215 because 189 has quiet a few quality wrestlers.

Ok this might be a little bit more accurate 103-1.Kyle Hudgins 2.Ronnie Hawthorne 3.Mark Jehle 4.??? I'm not to sure who is all at that weight. 112-1.Kyle Buehler 2.Nevin Kopriva 3.Zack Davis 4.Brandon Hurt 119-1.Cody Bell 2.Sean Flynn 3.Corey Bloodgood 4.Joe Bonner 125-1.Mark Millstead 2.Stewart Jones 3.Brent Sinclair 4.Miles Cleveland or Anthony Lopez 130-1.Kyle Grape 2.Sheldon Rinkes 3.Adam Faircloth 4.Jovonnie Franklin 135-1.Jeremiah Hamer 2.Garret Palmer 3.Jon Zirkle 4.Max Hudgins 140-1.Clay Page 2.Dennis Kessler 3.Derrick Hayes 4.Dustin Bartlett 145-1.Ross Starcher 2.Chad Roberts 3 and 4.??? 152-1.Neil Erisman 2.Derek Trammel 3.Phil Hasty 4.??? 160-1.Jesse Strawn 2.Derek Lang 3.Jerry Harthshorn 4.??? 171-1.Kyle Flory 2.Leif Goleman 3.Drew Hudgins 4.Brandon Switzer 189-This one I think will be a batlle between Josh Barr-Eudora, Ryan Civils-Lansing, Luke Halford-Baldwin, Matt Tucker-Spring Hill. and Kenny Compton-Atchison.It can go anyway. 215-1.David Roper 2.Alex Mercer 3.Brandon Cone 4.Aaron Adcox 275-1.Brandon Kush 2.Adam Canterbury 3.Michael Taylor 4.??? 215-1.

bswitz171: The Compton in question is Kenny Compton of Atchison, who won the Worley/Tilton Invitational, Lafayette Invitational, Tonganoxie Invitational and Atchison Final Flurry, while finishing second at Sabetha and Shawnee Mission South, all the while wrestling at 215 while barely weighing 185. He has dropped down to 189 to replace his teammate and friend, Josh Erpelding after Josh broke is leg three weeks ago. And no, it wasn't that Kenny couldn't beat Josh, he just decided to wrestle up a weight.
Also, FYI Wrestler4Life— Ronnie Hawthorne will not be at Hiawatha. He will represent the Kansas State School for the Blind in the 3-2-1A Regional at Easton. Ward and KSSB were in a sharing agreement this year, so Ronnie will be representing the Eagles this weekend.
