I bought some new Supreme Lyteflex's this year but they were first too big. So I sent them back for a half-size smaller and then my foot was too wide to zip them up. Darn those shoes. Finally I just got another pair of Sydney Equipment, now those are some good pieces of footwear.

Indeed the golden magic shoes were very cool. By the way, where did you find those things? I searched for numerious minutes on the internet looking for cool old school style shoes, like the golen shoes, and every where I go has the same shoes.
ENJOY!!!

Once again with the unnecessary "i." The last time that I checked, "numerious" was not a word Bartels.

mr aaron bartels-
my dear old chap, u will never find golden magic shoes online nor at ur local wrestling supplier. Those shoes were handed down to me by Coach Joel Rios himself. Before him, our very own Ian Freeman sported them. Back in his day, wrestlers like steve dickmen and millsteads terroized the scene, olathe east was dominant in the johnson county area and james ball was winning state. Those were some crazy times.
By the way, i have never seen anyone have shoes of my design ever which i find odd. u'd think a shoe of that style wouldve been popular.

A shoe that should be remade like the "Combat Speed" is the old Nike Greco Wrestling shoes. With the big swoosh on the side. Thats a cool looking shoe.
ENJOY!!!

i always fancied the shoes that were a majority of white and a touch of black stripes. That was a popular style worn by a lot of guys in high school last yr. Ive noticed in college most of the guys just wear plain old black shoes. Before i ever saw a college match, id always assumed that they wouldve had some wacked out shoes. i was wrong. end of story.

I feel that the best shoes ever made were the Adidas ADISTARS (the white ones). I would love to find a pair if I could but they seem to be all sold out. Kendall Cross did an excellent job of sportin' those in the Olympics!

The pink, yellow, and light blue Combat Speeds were sweet. But the best long wearing shoes I ever had were the White Adistars. I can't belive they were replaced by the Mat Wizard. I think the two models that are the closest to the same design are the Ferox and the Pretereo. The Ferox is made in white. I believe the Pretereo only comes in black, blue, and red. Another cool pair of shoes were the royal blue Dan Gable Ultraflex with the extra long tongue....a true split sole design. I also remember my coach from High School had a pair of Brutes the were cool because they were all taped up.
