Not in the slightest why would it? Why do you think a team that does not have a successful state tourney should be banned the next year? Why would it bother anyone that happens every single year in one regional or another whats the big deal?

Yea, those schools out of the KC/Topeka area and Eastern, KS have got to start traveling a little farther West and gettting into competition. Come see Hutch, Garden, Emporia, Wichita Schools, etc. and quit hanging out east and padding your records. It bothers me that almost every year guys out of those regions come into state with 30-1 or 25-3 records and dont place or only place in the bottom 5-6. Bring it to the middle of KS and see what happens to those pretty padded records.

The pairings are different for each weight class, so how can you say that those 2 Regionals were paired against each other.

Hey, wrestling 4 fun and mikechurch, you guys make me sick. The fact is, there are tough guys from all over the state. Nobody is intentionally "padding" their record. By the way, there is no set pairing. They have a random pairing for each weight.

I never said it was padded, and I didn't realize it was random. the other guy said the brackets were padded, I was simply stating that 9/10 top 6a schools came from two regionals, therefore, the brackets in those regionals must have been crazy. so 171kswrestler, take some peptobismol and relax your stomach aching...

It's a conspiracy, the state is conspiring to get those evil shawnee mission kids in the tourney so they can appease those Johnson County guys. You think???? NOT

171, I didnt say that the padding was intentional, but it is so. Yes, there are tough kids all over the state. Nobody ever said that there are not tough kids in Eastern, KS. Just that there are a larger number of guys from that region, who have great records, and can't get the job done at State. Yes, the records are padded, b/c the guys that are good, are just stomping there buddies in the same area instead of testing the water in other parts of KS. So yes, I will say that 75% of the time, a wrestler with a 500 or 600 record in the mid and western part of KS, will beat a wrestler with a 800 or above record.
Have a good day, Michael R. Church
P.S. 171, why you gotta get so mad about record padding, guilty conscience? LOL

I can not speak for all Johnson county schools but look at the schedules of smw, sme, bvnw, and others. You will see that they were not only all over this state but many others as well. You might want to check the facts before you start piping off.
