Any word on how good some 6A teams are going to be this yr (especially sunflower league teams)?

I think Free State is getting overlooked. i don't know if they are top 5, but I think they are definitely top 10 again. Probably close to top 5 or 6.

well we do have some wrestlers that are stepping it up a bunch this year i thing we will do good as a team. With the exception that we lost two state placers that were seniors last year but all in all we do look ok

Top 3 i would have to say will be Emporia, Manhatten, and Hutchinson. I dont know who will win it but Hutch does have a good chance. But i would put Emporia ahead of Manhatten.

i agree with you somers, u guys will have a solid team. But i think sms will be tough also. If runyon and i can have some quality seasons this yr and if sultani and clayton step it, we will be a top contending team in the sunflower league. bogey of course will be unstoppable.

I personally think Topeka High is being seriously overlooked. We have six returning state qualifiers who are all hungry for victory. All I have to say is "watchout".

Shawnee Mission East should have a good year with five returning SQ's, with three returning SM's, Matt Miller, Allen Miller and Kevin Ecker. They also return alot of experienced underclassmen and have a new very talented head coach, John Sonderegger, who was an All-American at Missouri.

Don't forget about Garden City. They are probably the one to beat.

Olathe North is going to be one of the best teams in the state this year. We have returning Adam Venegas, Ryan Parks, Dane Jordan, Brian Bartlett, Lev Richardson, Dallas Browning, Matt Matheson, Ryan Croxton and Tom Mayes.

Matt Miller's wrestling 125 for a week or two then dropping down to 119, Allen is wrestling 130 and Kevin Ecker is wrestling 145. Also, Ryan Sonderegger is now ranked 6th in the state at 152. So that means S.M. East has 5 returning state qualifiers, 4 that are ranked and 3 that have previously medaled.
