I heard that this tourmanent was going to have El Reno and Broken Arrow this year. Does anybody know anything about that? Ponderosa will have 11 guys back from last season (including 4 GC champs), so that tournament should be kick *ss.

i KNOW THAT IT IS A GOOD TOURMENT WITH THE ONES THAT ARE THERE IT WILL JUST MAKE IT A BETTER ONE TO BE AT. SCOTT CITY WOULD LOVE TO GET MORE TEAMS IN THERE.

If it is true that El Reno and Broken Arrow will attend, it begins to appear that this one will rival Bobcat Classic and some of the other eastern events as far as nationally ranked competition. To bad that many of the eastern teams in Ks. don't participate and, as a result , will not attach much importance to this event. That being said, I think that the Garden City deal is one to attend.

Garden City is a great tournament! We have been attending it for the the last three years and it has gotten better every year. It has really helped prepare my wrestlers for upper level competition and I highly recomend this tournament for coaches wanting to prepare their kids. Coach Segovia, his team, and all of their supporters have always treated us very well when we go out there. I don't our tournament has anything on Garden City.

HOME OF THE BOBCAT CLASSIC

Garden City is a great tournament and a fun atmosphere. That's too bad that it appears Broken Arrow will not be attending, but there is still a lot of tough competition. I was impressed by a few teams there last year, particularly Scott City.

There is no competition, on the other hand, when it comes to comparing Garden City's hospitality room to that of any other tournament in the nation. I'm suprised there isn't a waiting list of teams trying to get into that tournament just because word has gotten around to coaches about the food.

So it appears BA isn't going to GC tournament
