In Kansas? No way. Now at nationals he won't be the favorite by any means. From what I've heard that Rocky Cozart kid is unbelieveable.

I agree with LancerM, not in Kansas but yes in Cleveland. I just don't think anyone can hang with him in this state.

And plus they're not in the same weight. Though Erisman is great, we won't see it happen this year.

Please don't compare Ross Taplin to Brandon Wise. It hurts my eyes to read that.

I think a Taplin Chenoweth showdown will be a great match. Chenoweth is a lot better than people think, he wrestled Grater to an 8-5 match last year in the state quarterfinals. I'm pretty sure that was Grater's toughest match of the tournament. And I think that Grater is better than Taplin (no offense to Taplin). I am looking forward to this matchup a lot.

3point buck, and the guy from Parsons, I guess you guys havent seen Taplin this season. Ross has upset 2 very good kids from other states. I can understand that you could compare Taplin and Grater, but i don't see how you can flat out say that Grater is better than Ross. No I havent seem the kid from Clearwater wrestle. But dont forget about SFT Travis Eden, he has a couple losses but is a **** good wrestler. Good Luck to Ross, and Travis the remainder of the season!

I say that Grater is better because in my opinion he's better on his feet and he's more of a finesse wrestler. And in the matches that I have seen where two very good wrestlers face each other, the winner won because he's better on his feet. Once again no offense to Taplin, but he's a bruiser and I don't think a bruiser could beat someone like Danny Grater.

I watched Taplin for three years in Kansas and while I haven't seen Artist from Glenwood wrestle, I've seen the kid ranked ahead of him in Iowa, Brett Hakeman from Union. I'm not sure Hakeman could beat Ross so the idea of anyone in Kansas doing it are pretty slim; including Erisman or even Grater. Taplin is in another level.

Taplin is a bad ***! For one thing he is way to phyiscal for anyone including Grater, he has a tremendous work habit and he wants it more than anybody. I think if Ross did wrestle Grater he would tear him up for being so phyiscal because i remember when Greg Kriesh wrestled Grater his freshman year and got tech falled because he was to phyiscal for him and Taplin his more phyiscal than that. Taplin is the best wrestler in Kansas!

Riffel how many screen names do you have on here? LOL!
This was mentioned earlier:
Ross has upset 2 very good kids from other states.
It's not an upset if you are ranked ahead of them in a National Poll. Ross is the best in the state at anyweight hands down. Has he even had a match not end in bonus points this year?
