Who do you guys think has the best shot at placing?
I think Garcia, Kriegbam, Bedore should all do pretty well, but I don't see anyone else placing.

Yes, this is not one of our best years for national placers. Those three will probably do alright. Nathan Retta is pretty much guaranteed to win it as far as I'm concerned.

The full list of team Kansas is now available at http://www.usawks.com/ How about Gilliland from hoxie, wasn't he a four-timer? Sequoya Hill will do ok.

Yes, Gilliand may have been a 4xer but that doesn't mean that he will palce at Nationals! Kansas alone has 4 kids that kids that I think could beat him (Zousas, Cornejo, Hill, Terrel)140lbs. is really tough. Hill's record is the same as Gilliand's and if Hill was in 123a he may have been a 4xer.
but I agree that those two, along with Bahe should do well and win some matches.
I also think Prater, Harding and Middleton will win a few

140 is consistantly one of the toughest weight classes at nationals.
Congrats, Aquinas! Great job, Hat Town! Salyer Rules!

Let me point out that Hill could have been a 4x state champ in 6A. I heard that he couldn't wresle at state his sophomore year because he got in trouble at school or something. He's really a fun wrestler to watch though. I hope he does well in college. Speaking of which, does anyone know where Hill going to wrestle in college?
ENJOY!!!

If you're talking to Sweazy, who is talking about Zousas, you're wrong. He's going to FHSU. Or, if you're talking about Schippers, he's going to Little Car county to pursue a clown job.
(He looks funny)

Aaron- From what ive been told by my sources, he is not pursuing any college wrestilng. He signed with Hays really early...he's a good hearted kid, even in the loss to Cornejo he said one of the most honest/humorous things I had ever heard. "I got stuck, he whipped my *** Swayz"

Why isn't jennings going to nationals? Afraid to wrestle in another big tournament after being killed in the finals this year?

I'm sorry to burst anyone's bubble but Hill would by no means be a 4x state champ in 321a. Yes Gillian and hill would be a good match, but Matt would win that match no doubt in my mind or any other western kansas wrestlers who dominate every year.

You are a joke! Just because someone is from western KS. does not make them better. Most people who follow wrestling closely know that Gilliand, although a great wrestler, would not have been anywhere near a 4xer.
Wait maybe you are right, I don't remember any good wrestlers from east KS. LOL

Haha B.S. I do remember that Zouzas did beat Matt this year 3-2. And Cornejo killed zouzas, wouldn't that put Cornejo above Gilliland and...Hill is just as TOUGH about as tough as Zouzas or Cornejo. Please try not to be so onsided in your opinions (take-it-too-em)
Taggin' for Tyler

"Niugrad", or whatever your "name" is....I do not know who you are. Nor do you have any control over this forum. You're not a moderator, or a freedom fighter, therefore you're nothing to me. AND, I beat Knipp the week before, AND I beat the guy who beat him twice. Is it possible I had a bad match? Yes. Is it possible you're a d to the izzoosh? Definitely. Am I bad at wrestling? Of course. Is Knipp bad? Probably not. Do you smell like vomit? Afraid so. In the words of a great man, the mexican guy from Half Baked, edited version of course. Screw you, screw you, screw you, you're cool, screw you I'm out!

Okay yes i was very onesided and i apologize for that. I strongly believe that Matt and Sequoa (sp?) would be agreat match, i've seen both wrestle many times and i still think matt would come out on top. Yes zouzas beat matt and that was a great match in itself. But that was just one match. I would only predict matt over hill.
