I seriously don't see how Cody Garcia can be touched by anyone! He is unbelieveable. My personal opinion is that he could take just about anyone in division 1 and 2 at his weight.

LOL, he is very good but you must not know very much about wrestling at the college level!

I do believe Cody is the best in the state. He is for sure a slick trick and a lot of fun to watch. However, in the college level, there are hundreds of him that go in at that level. Some get worse, some stay the same, and some get better. And the best, get a lot better. I am looking forward to following him in his college career wherever he goes. Good Luck!

I would doubt that Earl could take him. Micheal Pelz beat him numerous times his freshman year. And Earl didn't place at high school nationals last year. Garcia wouldbe able to beat him.

Earl Jones would probably lose to Garcia. I saw Jones lose to several redshirts and his particular style is often beaten by those w/ a quick and slick style like Garcia's. None the less, Jones himself is a freaking badass. Last time i checked he was ranked 2nd in the nation for juco wrestlers.
Tanner Gardner beat Garcia and Tanner has at least 13 losses at D1 this yr..... take it as you see it.

Actually I think I read on a different topic that Earl Jones won a national title this year in juco wrestling. That is awesome.

Yeah, that's right... Earl did win a National Title this past weekend, and the guys who he beat were pretty tough. Congrats to Earl the Squirrle, you definetly deserve it bud. Personally from wrestling with Earl all year and seeing Garcia wrestle at Regionals and State, I feel that Earl could take Garcia... but you must remember that Earl has had a year of college experience when Garcia is still in high school. I just think that Earl is too strong for Cody. Don't get me wrong though... Cody is definetly the best that Kansas has to offer right now. Best of luck to Cody in college, I'm sure that he will succeed at levels that he didn't even come to in high school.

Boach Clack and May D Ayes bet on Mancuso instead of Garcia. Let the ridicule begin.

Let me be the first non-Dingbat person to ridicule MayD and Boach. You are silly, silly guys.
The real question is--how good is Garcia? Could have beat a mediocre 152 pounder? 160? 171? Where's the cutoff?
I say 152.

I do not dault cody's abilitys he is quite the stud but earl jones is also a major stud an ive seen him out wrestle some of the best an quickest wrestlers the state has to offer. I would put my money on jones any day.

i have wrestled with cody for 6 years. and he is amazing. we would do king of the mat. where u would start with the lightest weightand then wrestled up to the heaviest weight, the first person to get a takedown wins. and you know tyler perry and zach hemmerling 189 and 215 pound state champs respectively. yeah they had trouble taking him down. so i think that he could have been a state champ at any weight up to provavly 160. his closest match would have been at 145 with hill. he is amazing.

Yeah I 2nd that. Cody has been my partner for like the last 10 years we have wrestled. I think I am going to miss getting beat up on every day. He has made me so much better because he never gives you any slack. I used to hardly ever be able to hang w/ him on his feet but now I sometimes can and even can take him down every once in awhile and it's the best feeling when I do. He works harder than anyone and never gets tired and I think he could beat about anyone.

what sort of conditioning does he do because as fast as he is you'd think he would get tired real quick but he doesn't he keeps that same increadibly speed and intensity going.

I sure hope you are just kidding, cuz Garcia has hardly any fat on his body.
